This fish meant a lot to me. I hadn’t run my skiff since March and hadn’t caught a redfish in a year, life has really been getting in the way, but I was able to get a hall pass.
Coming down a shoreline I heard a splash and found this happy fish tailing in the flooded vegetation behind the shoreline. It was a well needed fish and he was a pretty bright one with six spots. Very glad to have gotten to knock the rust
