Stalking the flats for Carp on a solo trip when I found this (small) sturgeon tailing on the flats. Made 1 good cast with a large white streamer and watched it suck it up. A hard strip set and it was on. Probably the hardest fighting fish I've ever caught on a 6wt and probably ever will đ

This was the 2nd sturgeon I had ever caught on a fly rod, currently only up to 5 in total. I’m curious if anyone else is hunting these dinosaurs?
