So I came across an old YouTube video of a guy using a Tupperware that fit into the 8” Hobie hatches so I tried it out and actually works. I got these from the dollar tree store in my town. The front hatch I just took a razor blade and cut a section for the latch. I added the rear hatch to my passport 10.5 which has a different style latch so I didn’t have to cut anything for it to fit. Figured I’d share on here in case anyone else was looking for an alternative to the Hobie gear buckets.
