5+ panfish and a dinky bass in a creek that I frequent
it’s fun with the most simple rig you can catch them all day but as soon I switch to the jig. Action slows down a lot, only had a single bite and missed the fish I really don’t know if the bait is big enough or small enough or the conditions were the appropriate I’m just Trying to get a fish with the jig 😭 any tips or advice ??
Also the jig im using is the strike king bitsy bug mini jig

I used to crush spotted bass with that exact set up on the TN River fishing barge tie ups, so the combo is good. Jigs usually just catch bigger fish imo, are you usually catching larger bass in this area or just the smaller typical creek fish. I love creek fishing but it doesn’t always produce consistent keepers
