Hey guys, been looking for a backup jigging rod that wont completely break the bank and stumbled on this Johncoo 1.7m rod on ali. Kept seeing it pop up so i pulled the trigger a while back.
Got the ML power one and honestly its been pretty solid for the like $45 i paid. The titanium tip is actually really sensitive which surprised me, and its held up okay against some smaller rockfish so far. Obviously its not gonna compete with a $300 rod, but for a beater or a backup to leave in the car, im kinda impressed? The rubberized grip is comfortable for longer sessions too.
Just curious if anyone else has taken a chance on one of these or similar rods from over there? Wondering about their consistency.
