Well got my first one on fly gear! Less than an hour…polite rock bass humored me today. Man it felt good, and I think the addiction has set in. Thanks to all who keep posting advice, it all helps. Probably the best advice is leaving the spin gear at home. Actually caught three rock bass, #4 shook his way loose.
My technique is probably atrocious, but one needs a starting point from which to correct. I actually found using a streamer to be fairly familiar.
