Not sure how many NC trout have been caught on an 8wt with an 8/10wt reel, but here he is 😂.
Tied up a couple dries and some wet flies with the EP fibers i have for tying clousers and EP baitfish… caught quite a few fish this week and decided to keep 1 for dinner! It was a good time. Im sure nothing i tied resembled anything that would typically be used for trout, but i just kind of freestyles something buggy looking and it caught me about 20 trout this week haha. It was a great time with the fall colors as my backdrop!
