I recently picked up this used dual jet ski trailer that had been adapted to transport fishing kayaks. It didn’t come with a spare but I have a big trip coming up and want to get one for peace of mind. However, since I’ve never had a trailer of any kind before, I’m kinda stuck and need some help.
After contacting a couple local stores and a couple online sites, I am having a hard time finding a spare wheel and tire. The tire size seems obscure and it’s also hard to tell what the bolt pattern is on the wheel because the hub prevents you from measuring across. I’ve also seen a lot of trailer spares that come with a hub—how necessary is that? How often do hubs go bad? And are there any of emergency maintenance parts I should get as well? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
