Last season I made the unfortunate mistake of transporting my big buddy heater in the sled of the flip-over shelter I tow behind my snowmobile. After a bumpy 30 min ride down a bush trail, I arrived at my spot to a busted up heater with a shattered ceramic element.
My question— how do you transport your heater via snowmobile? I’m looking for some ideas to get the heater onto the actual snowmobile, and keep it intact this season.
