I lost my prized 9ft 5wt this summer when I accidentally left it on the side of the road when I was packing my truck. I have been without a 5wt all summer and have only been using a 3 wt. I found a deal for an only used once Orvis Recon. Due to special circumstances he’s willing to sell it for 250. I know it’s a decent deal since it’s 600 online, but I know very little about the rod. Has anyone ever used it? What are your thoughts? If the deal is really as good as it sounds, should I pull the trigger?
