I haven’t lubed or grazed my reels at this point since beginning fishing. I have a few daiwa that I know don’t come lubed and some shimano reels that I’d like to do the same for. Not sure where to start..

Do I need to take off all of the line to do this and break down the entire reel? A friend mentioned to me once that little springs may pop so to be careful. I wouldn’t want to mess anything up. And tips/advice or videos that can help me out?
