Lost my old boy this morning but unfortunately was unable to post because someone Thanos snapped the internet.
I only had him a year but he was old when I got him. I'm grateful for the time I had with him and that he got to spend his old age in a 7 gallon instead of a tiny bowl shoved away in the back corner of a fish store.
That's where I met him. Tucked away in a dark corner away from the other bettas. Left to sit unloved and unwanted in a tiny dish in a dark corner just because "you sure you want that old fish?"
They gave me a $10 discount because of his age.
