Having trouble catching bass lately since fall started. Located in Japan btw. Are there any other lures you guys recommend?

I’m not familiar with fishing in Japan, I know it’s heavily pressured and would suggest things you don’t typically see anyone else throwing

I love a drop shot or a ned rig. Any presentation that’s subtle and perhaps smaller on size. That’s what works best for me in high pressure spots. Good luck!

On my small pressured lake, I’ve had more success this fall on reaction type baits like square bills and jerkbaits. Working them really quickly to drive that reaction strike instead of giving the bass a chance to look at lures too long. They’ve seen it all, but the falling water temps throw them into a hard drive to feed on forage fish to prepare for winter. So if you use soft plastics, I’d stick with bait fish imitation and work them aggressively, with very short pauses like after coming over structure.
