I was considering this Royal Wulff line because I heard some good things about it. I don’t know much about triangle tapered line; does it have something to do with less surface tension on the water? For context I’m planning to use it on a 6’6 rod in very tight pocket water.

Triangle is the taper type, not the shape of the line.
Fantastic lines. Cut the first 12” off and replace with about 6 inches of 30lb mono in a perfection loop, then nail knot it to the end. It’ll load a bit better. I have this on my 5wt and it’s my favorite casting line.
