I just bought this, kind of an impulse purchase. It’s listed as a “foldable kayak net” (this is the small size). I’m mainly fishing from shore so I want something that’s easily portable as I gotta drag it along with me. I like how light it is while still feeling solid enough and the depth of the net, although I wish the hoop was a little bigger (19.7”x15.7”). Anyway, looking at it now I realize there’s a weak point in the design shown in the 3rd pic; it’s just this little piece of plastic that supports the handle when open. There’s no reviews on this online that I could find (maybe it’s a newer item?), so I thought I’d ask here if anyone had tried it or if there might be another net you’d recommend.
