Hey everyone, I’m planning a kayak trip around the Florence, Alabama area to target smallmouth bass. I was wondering how safe and practical it is to kayak on the Tennessee River there, or if there are any better nearby spots you’d recommend for smallmouth fishing.
I’ll be fishing from a pedal kayak with some gear on board, so I’d like to know about current strength, boat traffic, and good launch areas if anyone’s familiar with that section of the river.
