I fish senkos weightless on a gamakatsu wide gap finesse hook. Works great. Only problem I have is that they are very prone to snags. After seeing 3 weedless hooks from gamakatsu for $10 I decided to make my own.
I haven’t tested them yet, and I think they would benefit from even stiffer mono (I used 30lb). I am going to tie a few “V” shaped ones as well and see if one works out.
Anyone else here make their own weedless hooks? If so, what style is your favorite and what materials do you use?
