Hey guys. Was fishing for Surf Perch in the Bay Area and came across this guy. Didn’t look like the other barred surf perch I was catching, instead of yellow stripes it almost looked like there were white stripes/diamonds on a yellow backing instead. Super cool looking fish, just wondering if anyone had an ID. Is this also a barred surf perch?
