My mom is trying to declutter after my dad passed a couple years ago and recently posted this fishing reel on FB marketplace for $5 she said she had a lot of people reach out but someone told her that it’s worth a lot more than she posted it for.
Shes had this happen with a lot of stuff she’s posted so she’s turned to her children to help research. These are some of the photos she has sent me of the reel that she has. Apparently my grandma gave it to my dad as a Christmas gift one year.

I have seen them for sale online from $20 to $60.
The best research tool, even though it still has some flaws, is eBay. You need to filter for Sold and Completed listings. That will give you the best idea what stuff like this is actually worth. You’ll get the most for it on eBay, but that’s more work, fees, shipping etc. Most vintage tackle is worthless but that looks to be in really good shape and thats the difference. If you want to stick with FBMP just list your price, ignore low offers and wait it out.
