My original pedal drive unit lasted 3 years.
Ordered a new off-brand one that is will be on its 5th year. But I had to MacGyver fix it when one of the bearings fell apart.
What’s your experience with these kinds of drives?
And are you doing any maintenance?
I’m fishing in saltwater and there’s usually a bunch of seaweed that gets stuck in the prop each trip. And low, if any maintenance.
