I just want others to know. A plastic sleeve, two strips of craft paper, and a thin, dented cardboard box is all that protects your rod during shipment when you order from FishUSA. Very disappointed as I typically order rods online and they always come bubblewrapped and inside a very sturdy cardboard or pvc tube, but I guess FishUSA prefers the cheap route.

Haven’t ordered from them in a while but my rods from fishusa were always shipped in a rigid cardboard tube. Everyone is trying to cut costs I guess
How much was shipping?
I’m new but both rods I ordered this year were shipped similar from different sellers
Damn…even AliExpress ships in almost indestructible cardboard pipes
Yeah, mine have come that way from them. I either they would switch to tubes.
Cardboard tubes use to be the norm, no longer, too expensive .
Looks like it made it fine
Lmao even my Temu rod came better packaged than tgat
1 piece rods usually get shipped in the heavier cardboard tubes. 2 piece rods get shipped in the smaller/shorter boxes like this. A lot of sellers do it that way.
Nice looking rod, what is it?
I bought a few loomis rods from fish usa and they were shipped much better than that. Hope that isnt the new norm. I do like to shop there.
