Daiwa tat 2500xg, paired with a St. Croix victory 7'1 medium fast, and spooled with Varivas 8 1 GOU.
And man has this setup been awesome. Super lightweight. Super smooth. Cast's great. LOOKS great.
I've been using it mainly to fish flukes and it has been stellar.
So yeah, if you were on the fence about the Tat… Be on the fence no longer. It is a fantastic reel.

I have the Tatula rod and it is amazing I could only imagine the reel.
Looks like you may have some uneven line lay. Might need to shim the spool.
