I found this rod that belongs to my uncle and was wondering if anyone could tell me about it, like when it was produced, what type of angling it's designed for, value for collectors? The rod itself is in exquisite condition, includes bag and tube. Thanks!

Wow that’s in great shape. Made by Heddon, sold through Sears. An upper middle level model . The gold wraps and gold painted hardware is pretty. 9″ 2!/2 F would be a good bass, steelhead, pike/musky rod. 7/8 weight line. Rough value $300 ish.
