I already knew about these reels for a while,and some days ago I found this Cardinal 44x in a vintage shop. Bought it for really cheap and tried it out after cleaning it ( they are really easy to work with, never took apart a reel before) now i understand all the fuss about them, itās like a classic car: not practical but bloody fun to use. I donāt think I will mod this one, but just for clarity. Where does it need grease and where it needs oil? Also, the drag does not click, it that the wire on the side plate that comes off?
