Caught this spirited dude about 1.5 hours ago on a pompano rig baited with frozen raw shrimp and a 3 oz pyramid sinker to hold it in the trough. Finally hooked one after three days of bait stealers. I’m a Pennsylvanian and am used to DE and NJ (but have surf fished the Carolinas and Hawaii), so this is my first of one of these guys. This is a Crevalle jack, right?
