Knot-wise, I usually use a Pitzen (16/20) knot. Anyone got a problem with that?! 🙂
For the top one (kastmaster): I’m always leery of the split ring as I feel it can degrade my line. Remove it? What about shrink tubing. Or am I just being stupid?
Bottom spoon: should I put a split ring on this, or tie it direct?
Also, I know the thoughts on using snap swivels seem to be: “don’t”. But are they really that bad? It really makes things easier, but I’m willing to just manually tie knots if that’s certainly the best option.
