Either one would have to be respooled with braid, but that’s a preference. If it’s Shimano or Daiwa I don’t care what model it is they’re all allowed on my rods. I tend to pick up my Aldebarans the most unless one of my steez are fit for the task at hand.

Personally I’d say the Metanium, but not faster than 7.1/1. It’s absolutely one of my favorite reels ever. Im sure the others are smooth, but I fish inshore and big redfish/trout will absolutely demolish the 8lb max drag washers. The Metanium has 11lb max drag and I have fished it for 2 years and haven’t had to replace them. The curado 150DC is a fantastic reel, but I had to replace the drag washers as early as 6-9 months. But, I will say that is an impressive lineup of premium reels and for freshwater I’d use any of them 🤝

Nice collection. Off topic but how do you keep your line on the reel from unraveling while storing? Spinning reels have that little hook for the line but I’m not aware of anything like that for baitcasters. I’m pretty new to baitcasters and have just been using a piece of tape.

I see two Scorpions. If either is a DC , it’ll make a nice match for my cranking reel

All of them. That is like Shimano porn.
They all have handles on the wrong side, so none.
