My local outdoor store sucks. It’s a sportsman’s warehouse and I think they are going under. Bass pro was going to buy them but it fell through unfortunately. I’m out of town and went to a North 40 Outfitters and holy crap it’s good.
I’m on a steelhead trip and really just needed some jigs (they had basically every color that Aerojig makes).
I stumbled into the bass section and could have easily dropped 100-200$ and I don’t even “need” any baits at the moment. They had some Imo baits or whatever on sale. I’ve never fished them so I just got 1. The bellows have always looked interesting but seeing them in person sold me. And the rodents for $3 looked awesome, similar to some other baits I’ve fished.
Sportsman’s literally can’t even spool reels anymore at my local location lol. Anyway, shout out to the stores that care about keeping a good inventory, carrying top producing colors, and having a great selection of baits. I look for reasons to spend money on tackle, my outdoor store makes it hard
