Hey everyone! I wanted to introduce my new betta, Miso, who I adopted on October 25th! ๐
Before bringing her home, I made sure to fully cycle the tank, and Iโm proud to say everythingโs been running smoothly so far. The setup includes live plants, a filter, and a heater, and Iโve been keeping a close eye on the water parameters.
When I first got her, she didnโt have much color(last two pics),she looked a bit pale and shy ๐ but over the past couple of weeks sheโs started to look so much more vibrant and confident! ๐ She swims around exploring her plants and loves resting on her log.
Sheโs supposed to be a female dumbo plakat, but if anyone wants to confirm or share their thoughts, Iโd love to hear them.
Any advice or feedback about her care, tank setup, or enrichment ideas is super welcome! Iโm still learning and want to make sure sheโs as happy and healthy as possible.

It seems to me like you have it under control. I canโt really tell much about the setup, especially the size of the aquarium but from what I can see it looks to be fine. It looks like she is going to be very pretty in the end.
Omg what a beauty, she’s so lucky to have someone who cares so much about her health and well being <3 I just got a betta a few days ago too lol, amed her Fuji, I think japanese names for bettas are in fashion!
