Diawa Certate 24 vs Shimano Excense?

Diawa Certate 24 or Shimano Excense?

Building an inshore high end seabass setup and need help picking between these reels if anyone has input! Diawa certate 24 LT 4000cxh or the Shimano Excense 4000mxg? Budget is not a factor as I want to build the best setup possible for seabass specifically off the shore/rocks in saltwater.

I am leaning towards the excense because I can find an excense infinity rod to pair it with much easier than finding a diawa morethan branzino rod here in the US, only because i’m picky in mixing diawa reels with shimano rods and vice versa, but i’m open to hearing all opinions!

I currently have the Certate 24 but i’m just wondering if the Excense is worth the upgrade, as I would sell the certate off if so. The Certate does fine but I was thinking since it’s the LT it wasn’t specifically designed for saltwater use, although it’s more than okay to use in salt water I just think since the Excense is a seabass specific reel it would be more appropriate?
