I posted yesterday about my 3 betta sorority that a local fish store recommended I set up. Ill/miss informed, I took the 3 of them home with a 5 gal tank.
Immediately noticed chasing and came to this sub for advice (which was almost 100% saying each their own tank), and followed it I hope!
Don’t tell my boss but I went out this morning on the clock and got them each their own 5 gal tank lol
(would love to have gotten 10, but I don’t have a lot of places that can hold the weight of a 10gal so for now, 5 gal)
I would love any more recommendations/suggestions about anything I could improve. All tanks have heaters, filters, substrate + sand, and a hammock rest. I used 30% water from my established 40 gal and conditioned the water I added.
Would love to add more plants but didn’t necessarily have the gift of time on my hands this am, so if you have any cool suggestions there I’d be especially interested!
