$55 Shimano 8’6” Scimitar 3/8-3/4oz, $45 Kastking Royale Legend II. The rod feels strong but it is an absolute noodle. Medium flex. Don’t think this is going to set any beefy hooks. Going to have to use thin wire hooks and play the drag. But the flex should help keep the fish pinned. Hoping it has the balls to bring in a striper. I plan on using it to throw 1/2-3/4oz jerkbaits. I think it has what it takes.
