So I want to get this regal 2000, however I don’t know what a good rod for this reel would be. Any recs?

Do you want rod specs or just rod recommendations. Rod specs I’d pair it with a medium fast or medium lite fast, 7’0-7’3. for actual brands. Dobyns, St croix or even daiwa. Dobyns maverick is a good pair with it. St croix triumph is another great rod, though dobyns and st croix rods are very sensitive to your line and lure weight. Daiwa tatula is another great rod that’s nowhere near as picky/sensitive. My tatula x stradic combo is still one of my favorites even after making my switch to primarily dobyns, st croix and g loom.
