I saw this Shakespeare tiger online for 20 wondering if it's a good rod or not. I would be using this rod for catching speckled trout, mangrove snapper, red and black drum maybe but I've never caught one before, and bait fish like pin fish and grunts. I would use this mostly in the Tampa intercostal area

It will catch fish, but ide look at a Shimano FX series rod for about the same price. The new FX ones have graphite like the shakesphere uglystick does for cheap
Berkly cherry wood is basically an uglystick in red
