I've tried a hairrig (not sure if i tied it right), floating bread, sinking bread balls and ive never caught one out of here. Most of the time these guys are just floating around almost like their faking a death. they ignore everything i throw at them. the buffalo feed shallow and the carp just float around. Any tips?

I fish for surface carp, normally get good results floating white bread dipped in paprika pressed on a hook about a foot below the surface.
The spook pretty easy so patience helps. Also learnt not to bother if they are at the surface “breathing” as they don’t seem to bite at all if that’s the case
