I’m running into a pretty annoying and painful (for my knees) issue with my Feelfree Lure 11.5 V2 with the Overdrive. I’m 185 cm (around 6'1"), and even with the seat all the way back, I still can’t get enough leg extension while pedaling. I know you’re not supposed to fully straighten your legs, but mine stay way too bent and it gets uncomfortable and even painful after a while. My knees go so high they’re basically close to my chest.

And there’s another problem: when I push harder on the pedals, the seat actually tilts backward. The straps just can’t be tightened enough to keep it from rocking, so the whole setup feels unstable. Put these two things together and sometimes it honestly feels like trying to ride a kid’s bike at high speed.

Also, I’m not in a position to replace the kayak, so that’s not an option for me.

I’m not looking for replies like “get a new seat.” What I really want is to hear from taller paddlers who ran into the same issues and found any kind of workaround or DIY fix — adjustments, strap or rail tweaks, small mods, anything — that helped without swapping out the whole seat.

If you’ve dealt with this and managed to improve it even a little, I’d really appreciate hearing what worked for you.
Thanks
