Got this vanford last year and I’ve had trouble with it since. It has this grinding noise whenever it’s under tension from a fish or just a heavier lure. Sent it to Shimano about 3 months ago for repair and they said they found nothing wrong and they cleaned it up. Now the grinding is worse than before and when I sent this video to their customer service they told me they don’t hear any grinding and that it sounds good. Am I wrong, is this normal?

This is similar to how my regal sounds. Sucks yours is such a higher price point. Im planning on tubing up the moving components, maybe that will help you?
