The second picture is from the day I brought him home. He was lying on the bottom, covered in algae and was completely pale- I absolutely couldn’t leave him there! I managed to “borrow” him and have him set up in a temporary 3 gallon with a lot of live plants. So far he seems happy-he’s made the biggest bubble nest I’ve ever seen and has been getting his color back. Once he is stabilized, I plan to get another 5.5 gallon with lots of plants to match my other betta 🤍
