Im curious about this rod, as im in the market for a baitcaster that can kinda cover all of my treble hooked baits from 1/4 oz to 1 oz. Like deps tiny bullshooter, buzzjets, buzzjet jrs, walking baits, crawlers, swimbaits and the occasional jerkbait or spinnerbait. I snapped my dobyns kaden MH and was looking at a major craft days, benkei, or megabass levante to replace my dobyns. This rod has piqued my interest with the huge weight gap but its classes as a frog rod…. So for 1/4 or 3/8 to 1oz treble baits should i get this rod? Or the other MH benkei which is just a fast taper, rated 1/4-1oz. Or is there a levante or days rod that would be better for what i need? Thanks. Im looking for a rod in the 200 dollar price range as i dont really throw baits like this that often and would rather spend that 250-450 price range rod on my bfs or finesse rods. Thanks!
