Grabbed 10 largies today in just over 2 hours at the local pond… Storms ahead but water was super calm so I knew it'd be a good day!

Nothing too far about 1lb but some were decent fighters for the size. 5" green pumpkin senko on a weightless texas rig when you know where they are and expect them to bite. Pond is loaded with weeds and algae (as well as bass and panfish) and is roughly 6-12 feet deep in deeper pockets.

Didn't see much topwater feeding action today at all, which was surprising. Drug them up onto the grassy bank and released them all very quickly instead of cleaning them off for a better photo 😂 But best to get them back quickly when you're not keeping them.

That’s a good day of fishing right there. Fish here often? Seen larger fish?

Curious if you might be looking at a stunted pond myself
