This thing has been sitting in the corner of my grandfather's garage for years, in a plain cardboard tube. Never thought anything of it until recently when we were cleaning out some space. I always knew he was into fishing during his younger days but never knew he was a fly fisherman.
As an avid fisherman myself, I'm using this as a sign to get into fly fishing. He'd want nothing more. I've only ever used a spin rod and any time I told him I caught a fish on my ugly stik, he'd always poke some fun at me, telling me real fishermen use a fly rod đ (Obviously joking). Just wondering if this would be worth using or best to sell and use the money to get a newer rod? After a bit of research, this thing was built between 1976-1983. For reference, I live in Colorado and typically fish rivers and lake for trout
