The mayfly are starting to come out in numbers at my local trophy fishery. The fishery is a man-made lake that is stocked with wild brown trout that are caught in large traps in nearby river systems.
Food is abundant in the lake and the fish grow to big sizes whilst maintaining their wild instincts. It makes for great trophy fishing.
