I'm asking for help. Two of my shell dwellers have developed unilateral pop eye, one after the other. First, the male got it. I thought it was due to some kind of trauma and added a little Epsom salt, which helped his swelling go down. However, I guess he still has the pop eye because he's hiding, though the swelling improved. On the same day his swelling decreased, I noticed a large, bulging eye on the female, and in the last two days, her condition seems to have worsened. I should mention that neither of them has cloudiness in their eyes; the eyes look pretty clear. Both are stressed and slowing down, but they still accept some food. I checked the water for ammonia and nitrites, and everything is fine. Yesterday, I started mixing metronidazole with their food and gave it to them, but there have been no improvements yet.
