Look at my freaking tank upgrade!!! I got the original tank when I was in 7th grade, and my past fish lived 2 years in it and passed before my freshman year. Missing the fish, I kept his tank empty until beginning of junior year. I had gotten the tank as a gift from my mom and never liked the fake plants. I told my mom I wanted to buy a 10 gallon and plant it and she agreed and I paid for some of it and she paid for some (most) of it. Today I finally made the move of my betta, Orion, into his new home. In his tank are some buddies, a nerite snail (which used to be in his old tank) named Andromeda, and 4 female shrimp – Lemon, Lime, Cherry, and Strawberry. (Soon to get 2 males to breed with). The fake plants in the big tank is soon to be moved out but its got algae on it for the sheimps and is aquarium safe silicone so no scratches to harm my betta. (Excuse his fins, his old tanks filter was unfortunately his favorite spot to sleep and chewed up his fins. They're healing, he's been through a round of medication and is all better).
