This is Enzo. The rocks, leaf hammock & filter have a brown film within 2 days of fully emptying & cleaning my TopFin tank. I don't think my filter is set up/working properly since the chamber with the cartridge never has water in it. The other chamber has a little bag with small stones & water flows through there. Setup instructions were useless, but it seemed pretty straightforward when I bought it (apparently not). Checked videos online & they say to ensure the filter has water but if I fill the cartridge chamber it just runs right through. I am using conditioned water & definitely not overfeeding him, so can anyone tell me where this brown film is coming from?
