Couldn’t fight the itch any longer. Also wanted to try out my new sonar. So I went to Mirror Lake in the Uinta mountains here in Utah where it has been cold enough for solid ice formation. Caught about a dozen brookies and rainbows on a small red tube jig tipped with a mealworm. There was been a severe lack of snow currently in Northern Utah, but the conditions were right for all the people ice skating and playing hockey.
