Was gifted this used Shakespeare baitcaster, noticed that despite thumb bar in the locked position and drag and tension set to tightest the line easily pulls out still it has no drag at all, watched a video to open it and reconstruct it and nothing was visibly broken, the line is also not slipping!
I think this is my last for the season. 23° feels like here 0800 low water fished 0545-0730 nothing happening for me or anyone else. Time for reel maintenance and waiting for march. Posted by DWCawfee
