Title, I’ve been using 2 pound test monofilament the last couple weeks after they stocked our local lake.
I’ve been wondering if they can still see it tho and maybe I should use a 2-4 pound test fluorocarbon leader?
I’m still catching fish but I’ve noticed some of them turning away at the last second which for me is a sure sign they spotted the fishing line.

Can they see it? Yeah, probably.
Do they actually care? Probably not any more than the hooks, split rings and weird moving thing that the line is attached to.
