Aquariums: He’s a dad!

I thought this was pretty cool. I didn't realize the males had egg duty.

This guy is over 7 years old. You can see him shuffling around to aerate the eggs.
The mother is a normal brown shortfin added about 6 months ago, and it didn't cross my mind that they'd pair up.
Unfortunately they laid these in the most accessible, central part of the tank and the other fish are already scoping it out 😞
