Hey everyone, I’m in between an old town pdl 106, or this brand new never used Hobie Compass. The old town is $1500, this one is $1100. I’ll be fishing mainly inshore, as well as lakes and rivers. I’ve fished inshore with the old town pdl 106 and it was annoying pulling the pedal drive up every time I hit the ground, so I’d like the drive of the Hobie more I think. I’ve also seen people say there’s not a lot of storage up front by the feet for the Hobie, but that’s not a concern of mine as I’ll be keeping everything behind me.

Yea that is really good. I got mine used for $1700 last year (tough market in socal). The camo is also the version that always have 180 drive as well (but i don’t see the drive in pic so I can’t tell. If everything is in good shape then grab it.
This is the current version of the compass (with the updated seat & hull supports). If they include the balloon wheels & 180 drive that’s a fantastic deal. With Hobie being bought out by Bass Pro most are unsure how existing warranties will be handled so I think this is a good time to buy used & maybe get a little extra discount.
